The much-anticipated, long-awaited bath time video is finally here! Zach and I had been just using a little washcloth to wash him off, but then my mom comes along and starts pouring water all over him. Turns out that he really likes that! Daniel especially likes water poured straight on his tummy.
He had his 2-week check-up yesterday. Navy-Marine Corps Relief Society sponsors a program where a nurse comes and does a home visit. What a great idea--I didn't have to drag him into a clinic to have a 15-minute appointment; instead, a nurse came over and spent like an hour and a half answering all of our questions and checking him out here, in our house. Daniel was a bit of a squirmy worm on the scale, so I don't think we got the most accurate weight, but the nurse wrote down 9 pounds, 4 ounces. She thinks he is closer to 10 pounds, though, which means he is a growing boy. Everything else checked out perfectly normal, which is just what we expected. The nurse taught us how to do some tummy time exercises, which Daniel doesn't seem to enjoy right now, but we're confident that he'll come around soon. That'll probably be the next video because it is hilarious to watch him scoot across the floor, screaming and turning red with rage.

Andrew had that same bath chair at my Mom's house. He loved it. And like Daniel, Andrew HATED tummy time. It gets better :)
