Dinosaur World is a roadside tourist attraction about 45 minutes from our house. It was a little bit cheesy and I'm glad we didn't plan a vacation around it, but it was definitely worth a couple of hours of our time. The boys loved the giant dinosaur statues in the woods and Hannah really enjoyed digging in the sand for fossils.
And this has nothing to do with Dinosaur World, but it's pretty funny. Ben decided to wear a cape with his crown and Dan taped a Mr. Potato Head mustache to his face.

Labor Day Wedding
Zach and I headed to northern Virginia for a wedding over Labor Day weekend. We had a great time by ourselves while my parents had fun with the kiddos in Kentucky. It was really nice to catch up with our old friends, the D'Amico's, who we were stationed with in Hawaii and North Carolina. The wedding was at a vineyard and it was beautiful, if a bit hot and humid.

Very (belated) Happy Birthday, Dan and Ben!
We celebrated Dan and Ben's birthday way back in August and it was awesome to have Aunt Deirdre, Uncle John, Joshua, and Aunt Jean in town for the party! We rented a water slide bouncy house and the kids had a great time on a hot summer day.
