Hannah's First Haircut

Once Hannah turned the big 2, it was time to cut her curly blond mullet.  We went to the same barbershop that Dan and Ben and Zach have been using since we moved here.  Carly was very excited to get her hands on Hannah!  We didn't cut too much off--just a few straggly long curls, but it really does make Hannah look more like a little girl than a baby.

Hannah Turns 2!

How did our little baby girl get to be two years old?!  Time flies, that's for sure.  We were lucky to have my parents in town for Hannah's big day, plus an appearance by Lauren and Jesse.  Add in a few presents and an awesome cake (made by Lauren) and Hannah had a pretty great 2nd birthday.

Her favorite presents were the tent and scooter from Granny and the baby doll with several outfits from Aunt and Unc and Great-Grandma.  Hannah is not happy that Zach and I gave her a potty as a present.  In our defense, she also got a five gallon bottle of bubbles and a new bouncy ball.

Easter Sunday

This Easter was pretty subdued because both Ben and Hannah were under the weather.  We managed to have a little Easter egg hunt at our house in the morning but Hannah was not really into it.  (I took the kids to the doctor on Monday and Ben and Hannah both have double ear infections and bronchitis.  No wonder she was not her normal happy self!)

Later on, I took the boys to church but Zach stayed home with Hannah.  Dan and Ben did another egg hunt after Easter services.  That afternoon, we went to a small barbecue with some friends in a park where the kids had their third egg hunt of the day.  Lucky kids!

Hannah had two beautiful Easter dresses (one from Granny and one from Aunt), but she only wore the one from Granny for about ten minutes so I could take some pictures.  She'll have to wear them the next two Sundays so everyone can ooh and aah over her at church.
