First Day of School

It's hard to believe that we have a kindergartner!  Leading up to the first day, Dan was excited but he was having some second thoughts on the big day itself.  All his doubts cleared up when we pulled up to preschool to drop Ben off and Dan saw his best buddy, Cael.  All the tears dried and Dan grabbed his backpack and was ready to go.

Ben had no such doubts.  He is in the same preschool as last year, but with a new teacher, Mrs. Carol.  (Their teacher from last year is now teaching second grade.)  Dan also has a new-to-the-school teacher, Mrs. Narez.  He's in a combo class with 10 kindergartners and 11 first-graders.  I think it'll be good for him to be exposed to first grade stuff because he's already such a strong reader and one of the older kids in the class.  We're looking forward to a great year for both Ben and Dan!
