Dan's birthday party

We belatedly celebrated Dan's 2nd birthday last Saturday while my parents were still here. Nothing big or crazy, just a few neighbors and friends. We borrowed a slide and pool so that the kiddos would have something to keep them occupied while the adults enjoyed Zach's delicious burgers and brats. My mom made cream-cheese filled cupcakes (my favorite growing up!) and they were a big hit with everyone. A good time was had by all, even when the birthday boy was attacked by a colony of fire ants. Hope you enjoyed your party, Dan--it's probably the last one that you won't have to share with Ben!
